How to Increase My Squeeze Page Conversion Rate?
By Tayo Binuyo
Your squeeze page is the entry point for your lead generation system online. For those of you that don’t know what conversion means, it’s the percentage of people that take an action upon reaching your website online. In this case it would be the percentage of people that leave you with their name and email address compared to the total number of people that actually get to the page.
So for example if 100 people visit your squeeze page and only 30 leave you with their name and email address, your conversion rate is 30%. I have heard a lot of talk when it comes to conversion rate online.
I listen to some people say that a 10-15% conversion is good and others say that a conversion of 40% is good. I would say closer to 40% and higher will be correct based on my personal experience. The 10-15% conversion rate I mentioned above came from a so-called Internet “guru”. I have achieved a 25% conversion rate in niche markets with very little effort.
The point I am trying to make is there is a science when it comes to achieving a high conversion rate. The biggest secret if you would like to call it that would be to deliver good content to achieve a higher conversion rate.
There are many points in your sales process where you can deliver good content before your prospects come into contact with your squeeze page. You have to remember that most people want good information and not just a sales pitch.
I have found that using this method also gives your products and services a better click-per-sale conversion rate as well. Content allows you to increase your conversions by attracting better quality traffic to your website online. You are able to not only increase squeeze page conversions but also click-per-sale conversions as well.
