1. Your First Step - Optimize Your Meta Tags

Your meta tags are one of the most important parts of your on-page optimization. Here are the meta tags you need to optimize: Page Title, Keywords and Description. All of these need to include the main keyword phrase you are targeting for high rankings.

Your web page should have at least one heading at the top of the page. This would be your page title. You need to change the ‘Font Style’ for your heading to Heading 1 as this will make your heading your prominent. Include your main keyword phrase in your heading.
