- Use a software program that shows you the most useful keyword phrase for your site. You could also try using Google’s tool but it does not beak down the keyword phrases like software programs do.

- Once you have your keyword phrase you want to place it in the headings, titles, meta tags and anchor links. What this does is show the search engine crawlers that these are the important things on your site.

- Now the next step to do is place this keyword phrase into about 3-6% of the text. This is because the algorithms of the Google search engine will identify your page as spam and will not rank it at all. This would be the worst thing to do. It is called keyword stuffing.

- Always keep checking your ranking on Google. If you make a little change to your site and you see a drop in your ranking then that means you need to change it back and try something new. This is the most important tip. If you stop checking your page will drop for sure.
